UPDATE

1. I now have sufficient numbers to start the formal club and regular meetings, create our constitution, open a bank account and start applying for funding from various bodies.
2. I have agreed that we can ‘hire’ the Sea Cadet’s’ Unit on South Quay for the build(s) and that will be available from May this year. We should get at least one on the water by the end of this season, all being well.
3. We have a great deal of support from Kings Lynn Council, the OASC, Trues Yard and many others.
4. I will be in the OASC clubhouse, Ferry Lane, Kings Lynn Thursday 28th March at 7pm to chat to all comers (and will be there every other Thursday for a while) – The OASC committee have offered to support our meetings going forward and their water at Saddlebow for practice; they want to be very involved. I spoke to their committee this evening.
5. I am currently completing the hull of another 15ft dinghy in my garage using the same technique and people are more than welcome to pop round to see it, if I know they are coming.
