All queries can be addressed to Admin or if you are interested in what events are coming up or trying a trial row; have a look at our Calendar then drop us a line.
Members are added to a membership only email circulation list.
We are currently working on setting up a Youth Section (for over 16s); if you are interested in this, the same applies; drop us a line.
If you are interested in a row, whether you are a member or not, send us a message (using the contact form below or an email to the address above). No previous experience necessary, all tuition and safety gear will be provided and we suggest that new people try a couple of rows before they join us.
We only ask that all attendees recompense the people who tow the boats to non-King’s Lynn events; this is usually at 25p/mile about £1 or £2 each depending on where we go and how many boats we take.
Our local rowing sessions take place from the public slipway in Kings Lynn or Denver Sluice depending on the tide. At weekends we will go farther afield, typically to Brancaster, Burnham, Wells, or Hunstanton. We will also have many special events where we take Lynn Rewet and/or Ouse Rewet to interesting spots and events like the Great River Race, the Lake District, the Crouch or Norwich to name but a few.
All rowing events have an “Officer Of the Day” (OOD), who is responsible for equipment, safety briefing and ensuring all beginners have a nominated mentor.
If you would just like to see our boats and workshop, please just drop us an email and we will arrange a time and date with you. We sometimes offer training courses on the water or in our workshop; these are specifically for members and designed to be applicable to KLCRC only.
